Lara Raj puts on a fierce display in Baby Keem’s music video for his new track ‘Birds & the Bees’.
The video, which is the first visual from his newly released album Ca$ino, is directed by Jack Begert and co-written with pgLang co-founder Dave Free.
It presents a volatile romance set against a surreal, neon-lit city backdrop. It also features actor Desmond Johnson.
Lara plays Keem’s love interest and apparent scammer.
Meanwhile, Keem plays a man who seems to be juggling multiple women.
The music video features a turbulent dynamic between the couple, with Keem getting frustrated by the amount of time it takes Lara to get dolled up for a night on the town.
But as they prepare to leave, he remarks that he “should’ve called Jade” to join him instead.
The comment sparks a violent reaction, with Lara punching him before the pair head into the city.
A bloodied Keem is then seen in a casino. At the same time, a glamorous Lara gets into a car and flees, having siphoned his bank account.
Lara shared the video on her Instagram Stories shortly after its release, writing to the rapper:
“Thank u for having mee.”
Baby Keem’s Ca$ino serves as the follow-up to his 2021 studio album, The Melodic Blue, which featured collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott and Don Toliver.
Meanwhile, Lara Raj continues to be in the headlines.
In January 2026, she spoke to PEOPLE about publicly coming out as queer in March 2025:
“I got so many messages and beautiful stories from fans from other communities, communities that don’t have LGBTQ+ representation, especially my Indian community.
“People saying that they’ve never seen anything like it and that they decided to come out because I did.”
She is a member of KATSEYE, which was recently nominated for two Grammy Awards.
However, it has been a difficult few days for the girl group as member Manon Bannerman announced she is taking a temporary break to focus on her health and wellbeing.
Manon told fans she was “healthy” and “taking care of myself,” adding:
“Sometimes things unfold in ways we don’t fully control, but I’m trusting the bigger picture.”
Her hiatus has also sparked speculation that the break may be linked to disputes involving the group’s label, HYBE/Geffen Records.
Additional speculation has centred on race.
