“I saw death. God gave me new life."
Pakistani actress Humaima Malick took to Instagram on November 9, 2021, to request prayers from her fans after being hospitalised in Istanbul.
Humaima was in Turkey for the IPPA (International Pakistan Prestige Awards) Awards when she suffered from a ruptured appendix.
The Arth – The Destination actress shared pictures of himself in a hospital bed, along with a series of Instagram stories detailing her experience.
In the caption, Humaima included a request for prayers from her 1.2 million Instagram followers.
In a separate post, Humaima shared details of her condition and said:
“Please pray for everyone around you and with you.
“A healthy individual can die at any time.
“Look at others with love and wish them the best. May God protect us all from those who are envious.”
The actress added: “22 hours in Istanbul with a ruptured appendix without knowing it.
“I saw death. God gave me new life.”
Humaima urged her huge fan base to restrain from jealousy, envy and negative thinking about others.
She said: “Please be kind to everyone around you. Life is too short.
“You don’t know whether you’ll be alive the next moment or not.”
Humaima went on to thank God for her friends and family.
She wrote: “Thank you for all those who have stood by me and my family who prayed for me.
“I request all my fans to pray for me. I have been given a new life from Allah.”
The actress received well wishes from both fans and fellow actors in the comment section of the post.
Parey Hut Love actor Sheheryar Munawar commented:
“Get well soon, Humaima. Sending my love and prayers.”
Humaima’s makeup artist Tariq Amin said: “Praying for a speedy recovery.”
Humaima travelled to Istanbul with her mother to attend the IPPA awards ceremony, which was held on October 31, 2021.
The actress and model met one of the producers of the popular Turkish serial Dirilis Ertugrul, Kemal Tekden.
Humaima shared pictures of the two on Instagram which immediately attracted attention from netizens.
The Bol actress thanked him for his hospitality.
Humaima started her career as a model at the age of 14 and is now considered one of the finest actresses of Pakistan television and cinema.
In 2014, Humaima starred in Raja Natwarlal, which was her debut film in Bollywood, alongside Emraan Hashmi.
Humaima Malick will next be seen in the action-drama film The Legend of Maula Jatt alongside Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan.
