Raj had deleted all of his social media handles
On November 25, 2021, the Bombay High Court rejected an anticipatory bail application filed by Raj Kundra.
The bail application was filed in connection with an FIR registered against Shilpa Shetty’s husband for allegedly distributing pornographic videos.
Justice Nitin Sambre had reserved the order on November 24, 2021, on Raj Kundra’s plea seeking protection from arrest.
The Mumbai Police had filed a case against Raj under sections of the Indian Penal Code, Indecent Representation of Women (Prevention) Act, and Information Technology Act for allegedly distributing sexually explicit videos.
Raj first sought anticipatory bail from the sessions court but it was refused.
Raj Kundra then proceeded to the Bombay High Court, claiming that he had been framed.
The FIR named Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey as co-accused.
Raj Kundra’s lawyers are adamant that the businessman is not connected to creating and distributing the illegal videos that feature the co-accused.
After coming out of jail, Raj had deleted all of his social media handles and is currently keeping a low profile.
He had recently celebrated his 12th wedding anniversary with Shilpa Shetty and the couple went for a romantic dinner.
Shilpa shared several throwback photos from their wedding on Instagram on November 22, 2021.

The pictures show Shilpa as a bride in a red silk saree and jewellery. Raj is seen as a groom in a matching sherwani, turban and sehra.
The two are seen performing the rituals as per Hindu tradition.
In the caption, she wrote:
“This moment and day 12 years ago, we made and continue to fulfil a promise; of sharing the good times and bearing the hard times, of trusting in love and God to show us the way… side by side, day by day.
“12 years and not counting… Happy Anniversary, Cookie!
“Here’s to many more rainbows, laughter, milestones, and our prized possessions… our children.
“Heartfelt gratitude to all our well-wishers, who have been with us through thick and thin.”
In early November 2021, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra were spotted in Himachal Pradesh with their children – daughter Samisha and son Viaan.
Photos from their trip made it to social media, in which the family could be seen visiting a temple.
It marked their first public appearance together since Raj’s arrest and bail in a pornography case.
In July 2021. Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police, along with 11 other people, in another case where he was accused of distributing porn films through an app.
He was granted bail in September 2021.
