Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal has urged music producers not to release any of Sidhu Moose Wala’s unfinished or unreleased tracks.

Gippy took to Twitter, threatening legal action against those who release or leak Sidhu’s work.

In the lengthy note, Gippy wrote:

“We request all the music producers Sidhu has worked with in the past, to refrain from releasing or sharing his finished/unfinished tracks.

“If his work gets leaked, we will take legal action against the individuals involved.

“Please hand over all the content to his father after Sidhu’s Bhog on June 8th.”

In the note, Gippy Grewal also requested Sidhu’s family members and friends not to share anything with music producers.

He continued: “Also, if someone from his extended family or friends, contacts any of his music producers for his work, please do not share anything.

“His father is the only one who should get to decide everything.”

Sidhu Moose Wala was killed on May 29, 2022, in a shooting whilst in the Jawaharke village of Mansa district in Punjab.

He was driving the black Mahindra SUV when a spray of bullets was fired by assailants in two to three vehicles following him.

Two other people were in the black SUV with Moose Wala at the time and were injured by the gunfire.

Sidhu Moose Wala was pronounced dead on arrival at the civil hospital in Mansa.

Goldy Brar, a Punjabi gangster, based in Canada, posted a message on social media claiming responsibility for the shooting along with Sachin Bishnoi Dhattranwai and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

A second message was then posted on the Facebook account of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi reaffirming their collaborative involvement and act of revenge.

However, an investigation is ongoing.

According to police, approximately 30 rounds of ammunition were fired from at least three weapons.

Sidhu’s father Balkaur Singh followed his son after learning that he left home without his security guards or his bulletproof vehicle.

When Balkaur arrived at Jawaharke, he saw a Toyota Corolla with four people inside following Sidhu’s car.

Balkaur Singh said: “By the time we reached the spot, the assailants had fled.

“I was in shock and it took me some time to get back to my senses.”

“When we rushed him to hospital, doctors declared him dead. I lost everything within moments.”
