“I kept quiet for a long time"
Pakistani singer and actor Mohsin Abbas Haider and actress and model Nazish Jahangir have been arrested, this action has been appreciated by the former’s ex-wife Fatima Sohail.
Reportedly, the FIA Cyber Crime wing made the arrest on Friday, 21 August 2020 in Karachi.
It was revealed the pair were being interrogated for harassment, fake pictures and videos and blackmailing against Fatima Sohail.
The complaint was made by Mohsin’s ex-wife Fatima Sohail who stated that she has been suffering from harassment for a year.
Fatima Sohail divorced Mohsin after she accused him of domestic violence. She also revealed that he was having an extramarital affair with Nazish Jahangir.
This revelation was bought to light when Fatima shared the details of her ordeal in a Facebook post.
She claimed that she had been assaulted ever since the former couple tied the knot in 2015.
News One shared the news of the arrest on Twitter. It read:
“FIA cyber crime wing #arrested actor Mohsin ABBAS and actress Nazish Jahangir in khi, charges of blackmailing, harassment, fake pictures and videos, evidence collected.”
Taking to Instagram, Fatima Sohail shared a video of the news being shared by News One. She captioned it:
“Finally after a long battle against the injustice to me and my son, FIA has found Mohsin and model Nazish guilty of the crime.
“Fake videos and fake posts against me being circulating and harassing me on social media.
“I kept quiet for a long time as the case was being processed in court and today, FIA interrogated regarding the matter.
“I am hopeful to get justice very soon. I request you all to remember me in your prayers.”
“And they were arrested from their apartment in Karachi.”
