Former Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestants Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan are set to reunite on Temptation Island India.
First premiering in the United States, the reality dating show’s premise sees several couples agree to live with a group of singles of the opposite sex to test the strength of their relationships.
The Indian adaptation is now set to premiere.
Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav said he was excited to participate in Temptation Island India.
However, he claimed that he would not be a contestant. Instead, he will act “almost like a co-host”.
Elvish said: “I am very excited to be a part of Temptation Island India. I like how honest this show is.
“When you’re in a relationship, sometimes you need to be sure about how strong your connection is and if you can trust your partner.
“This show helps you do that. You can see if your partner is really the right one for you. It’s like a clear way to figure out your relationship.”
Elvish explained that three couples will live separately in two villas. They will be joined by eight singletons.
The couple that remains loyal throughout will win.
Elvish continued: “It’s almost a loyalty test. These couples have been in a relationship for a lot of years.
“So they may never have gotten to explore options and think about whether they made the right decision.
“As for me, I would also add a little humour and even try to instigate the partners against each other.”
Shortly after Elvish’s announcement, Abhishek Malhan said he will also be taking part in Temptation Island India.
He said: “I’m really excited to be a part of this interesting show.
“It’s all about going after what you believe in, getting to know yourself better, and creating meaningful connections.
“For me, it’s all about sharing the love, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
“Love is at the heart of it all, and I can’t wait to explore it on Temptation Island India.”

Karan Kundrra and Mouni Roy have been confirmed as hosts of the dating reality series.
Karan previously said: “I’m excited to be hosting the Indian version of the world-popular format, Temptation Island.
“Having personally enjoyed watching the show, I believe it’s a refreshingly unique concept for Indian audiences, setting it apart from other reality shows.
“It’s a thrilling journey where couples openly confront their issues and desires to test the strength of their love.
“Instead of discussing problems in private, these couples openly are going to confront their challenges to see if their love can overcome their desires.”
