Three masked men opened fire.
On August 17, 2025, Elvish Yadav’s Gurugram home came under heavy gunfire by alleged gangsters.
The Bigg Boss OTT winner and controversial YouTuber narrowly escaped harm when his residence was attacked as he was away.
According to initial reports, three masked men opened fire at his home in Sector 57.
The attack resulted in shattered glass, damaged walls, and bullet marks across multiple floors of the building.
Elvish’s caretaker and father, Ram Avtar Yadav, were inside the house when the firing began, but no injuries were reported.
Speaking to reporters, his father confirmed that approximately 25 to 30 rounds were fired at the residence in rapid succession.
He said he was asleep when the attack began and praised police officials for their swift response in securing the scene.
The footage retrieved from CCTV cameras revealed three assailants arriving at the property, with two clearly visible in the recordings.
The suspects are believed to be connected to the Himanshu Bhau gang, a group with a history of violent intimidation.
Hours after the attack, an unverified online post appeared, where the gang allegedly claimed responsibility for the shooting.
The statement, carrying a “Bhau Gang Since 2020” stamp, warned against social media influencers promoting online betting platforms.
It directly accused Yadav of endorsing gambling content and warned others of similar consequences if such promotion continued.
Police identified the attackers as Neeraj Faridpuria, Bhau Ritoliya, and Inderjit Yadav.
All of them are reported associates of the Himanshu Bhau network.
Investigators confirmed that bullets struck both the ground and first floors of the building, while the family resides above.
The attackers fled the scene quickly after firing multiple rounds, and security has since been tightened around the locality.
This violent episode adds to the ongoing controversies surrounding Elvish Yadav, whose career has been marked by frequent public scrutiny.
In March 2024, he was arrested by Noida Police over allegations of supplying snake venom at rave parties.
While he later secured relief after the Supreme Court stayed legal proceedings, the matter remains a shadow on his record.
In May 2025, the Allahabad High Court refused to quash the charges related to the case, further intensifying his legal challenges.
Despite the controversies, Elvish Yadav retains a massive online following.
Authorities have assured that thorough investigations are underway to apprehend those involved and ensure the safety of his family.
For now, the motives behind the attack remain under question.
