"The support seems virtual and likely fake."
Actor Pankit Thakker gave his thoughts on Elvish Yadav, admitting he is baffled by the support the YouTuber gets.
Elvish has been in the headlines for controversial reasons lately.
He was embroiled in a feud with YouTuber Maxtern. A video soon circulated online, appearing to show Elvish and a group of men attacking Maxtern.
The pair eventually settled their differences.
Elvish was recently arrested in a snake venom case, where he was accused of supplying snake venom as a party drug.
He reportedly admitted to supplying snake venom and has since been released on bail.
Throughout these controversies, fans remained loyal to Elvish Yadav and have supported him.
But Pankit Thakker does not get why Elvish has a loyal following.
He said: “I am perplexed as to why he receives so much support. What has he actually achieved?
“Believe me, not everyone in reality knows him. The support seems virtual and likely fake.
“Nowadays, views and followers can be easily bought. If you have money, you can trend, and his case strongly suggests that he has significant financial resources.”
There were reports that Elvish had purchased a house in Dubai.
However, his parents dismissed the claims.
Ram Avtar Yadav and Sushma Yadav also claimed that the cars in Elvish’s vlogs are not actually owned by him.
According to them, Elvish borrowed the luxury cars from his friends, included them in his videos and returned them after filming.
Expressing his dismay at Elvish’s controversies, Pankit continued:
“It’s disheartening to see individuals seeking attention by causing unnecessary controversies.
“A few days ago, Elvish was involved in a public altercation with another YouTuber, only to later make amends and become friends.
“Are we, the public, being taken for fools?”
“Furthermore, his parents claim that Elvish had been harassed for years, and Maxtern insulted him over the phone. Why didn’t they involve the police?”
He also shared his support for politician and activist Maneka Gandhi, who had called for Elvish’s arrest in November 2023 for allegedly abusing animals.
Pankit added: “If Maneka Gandhi is blaming him, I stand by her.
“She is well-respected and has dedicated herself to serving wildlife, children, and women’s rights.
“She has not gained fame through frivolous social media posts, creating controversies, or participating in reality shows.”
