The Indian adaptation of Temptation Island is set to release and it is reported that Mouni Roy will be the show’s host.
First premiering in the United States, the reality dating show’s premise sees several couples agree to live with a group of singles of the opposite sex, in order to test the strength of their relationships.
Temptation Island has garnered attention for being bold.
It is now reported that Mouni Roy will host the show and filming has begun in Alibaug, Mumbai.
A source told Times of India:
“Mouni Roy has been locked as the main host for the dating reality show as it marks her debut for the Indian audience.
“With her magnetic presence, Mouni will surely add a special touch to the show.
“Temptation Island is a dating reality series with a massive following worldwide for its riveting exploration of love, temptation and relationships.”
Reports of potential contestants have also come to light.
According to Telly Chakkar, influencer couple Unnati Malharkar and Manav Chhabra are two names believed to be confirmed contestants.
Karan Wahi is reportedly entering the show while his ex-girlfriend Uditi Singh has also been approached.
Karan is known for his roles as Ranveer Sisodia in the teen drama series Remix and Dr Siddhant Modi in the medical youth show Dill Mill Gayye.
BollywoodLife had said that Nia Sharma would be a contestant.
Following his breakup, Uditi spoke about the matter.
She said: “I think people will always be more curious to know about personal relationships than about our professional lives.
“This is part and parcel of the actor’s life I suppose.
“But somewhere, because of my relationship with Karan Wahi, people noticed me, and I got into it.
“But I am grateful to that and there are no regrets. Initially, there were a lot of DMs filled with hate where people would tell me, because of him I have achieved whatever I have so far.
“But I avoided it, though I do give the person due credit because I wouldn’t have shifted to Mumbai, hadn’t been him.”
“We both are not in touch with each other anymore.”
According to reports, the makers have approached adult film star Johnny Sins.
The American is the biggest male adult film star and if he decides to accept the offer, it will mark his India debut.
