“What am I seeing? She didn’t hold Virat’s hand.”
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were spotted together in public for the first time since the cricketer’s recent Instagram controversy.
The couple were seen arriving for dinner on Bengaluru’s MG Road.
A video of the outing quickly surfaced online. But this time, fans felt something was different in their body language.
In the video, Anushka steps out of their car wearing a beige jumpsuit.
Virat extends his hand to assist her. However, she appeared to instead to hold onto the door and walk ahead of him.
The cricketer shuts the car door and follows her into the restaurant.
The moment has prompted speculation online, with many linking it to Virat’s recent Instagram activity involving Avneet Kaur.
One fan commented: “What am I seeing? She didn’t hold Virat’s hand.”
Another wrote: “This is what happens when you unlike a ‘like’.”
Some even began claiming their marriage was on the rocks.
Others called for the video to be deleted, saying it was fuelling needless rumours.

The viral video comes days after Anushka Sharma’s birthday. Virat had shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her.
But he soon entered the spotlight after social media users noticed he had liked bold pictures of Avneet Kaur wearing a green crop top and a printed wrap skirt.
Screenshots of the like spread across social media, leading to widespread discussion.
The like was soon removed and Virat issued a statement.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Virat Kohli wrote:
“I’d like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction.”
“There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding.”
Despite his clarification, social media users continued to make fun of him.
Making fun of Virat’s response, one wrote:
“Kids: my account got hacked. Men: my PR agent accidentally liked a post. Legend: the algorithm mistakenly registered an interaction.”
Believing the ‘Like’ was not a mistake, another said:
“As a software engineer for 4 years, this is a completely senseless post!!
“An app like Instagram would never register an interaction mistakenly.
“Yeah, I mean, that’s Instagram, not someone’s computer science final project, lol.”
For Avneet Kaur, the moment ended up boosting her follower count by more than 500,000.
