Rumours are spreading that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma might be moving to London.
The couple were recently seen enjoying a family outing with their children, Vamika and Akaay.
A series of previously unseen photos of the couple went viral on social media, reportedly taken in London.
In the photos, Anushka wore a bright floral maxi dress that perfectly captured the summer vibe, while Virat kept things casual in a blue T-shirt, brown shorts, glasses, and a cap.
One picture showed Virat with his arm around his wife.
Social media users quickly labelled them “king and queen”.
Rumours have been circulating that the couple may permanently relocate to London, a city that seems to be a favourite for them.
These speculations were further fuelled when Virat, fresh off his victorious return from the T20 World Cup, flew to London to join Anushka and their children.
A viral video previously showed Virat holding his son while Anuskha looked at flowers at a local florist.
Although neither Anushka nor Virat has confirmed any plans to settle in London, their extended stay and focus on family life have certainly sparked speculation.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli announced the birth of their son on February 20, 2024.
Sharing the news on Instagram, a joint statement read:
“With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world!
“We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives.
“We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time.”
Despite their current commitments, there are several reasons why moving to London might be beneficial for the couple.
As a major global centre, London presents many opportunities in sports and entertainment.
Furthermore, the city’s lively cultural environment and top-notch international schools could be appealing for their young daughter, Vamika.
Anushka Sharma has not starred in a film since Zero in 2018.
She is now looking forward to the release of her comeback film, which is based on the life of former woman pacer Jhulan Goswami.
The film, titled Chakda Xpress, is written by Abhishek Banerjee, directed by Prosit Roy, and produced by Karnesh Sharma under the Clean Slate Film banner.
The film’s release date is yet to be announced.
For now, all eyes are on the couple’s next move.
