Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were spotted together on the streets of London, making a rare public appearance.
Photographs of the couple quickly circulated on social media after they were reportedly photographed outside their son Akaay’s day nursery.
The sighting attracted attention because Anushka and Virat have generally kept their two children, Vamika and Akaay, away from the public eye.
Virat was dressed casually in a green sweatshirt and jeans, while Anushka wore leggings, a T-shirt, a jacket and a cap.
In one photograph, Virat appeared to be speaking to a woman while pushing a pram believed to belong to the couple.
Akaay was not visible in any of the photographs.
According to posts shared by fan accounts, the couple were standing on a path outside the nursery when they were photographed.
Anushka and Virat are understood to have moved to London with their children, with their decision reportedly linked to their desire to give Vamika and Akaay a relatively private and normal upbringing.
The latest sighting comes weeks after the couple were photographed together in Delhi in August 2026.
Anushka and Virat have also made regular visits to spiritual destinations, including Neem Karoli Baba’s ashram at Kainchi Dham in Nainital and his ashram in Vrindavan, where they have sought spiritual guidance.
The couple married in an intimate ceremony in Italy in December 2017. They welcomed their daughter, Vamika, in 2021, followed by their son, Akaay, in 2024.
Earlier this month, Dr Sriram Nene spoke about meeting the couple during an appearance on YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s show.
He said he had “a lot of respect” for Virat, describing him as “just a decent human being”.
Dr Nene also recalled speaking with Anushka about the couple’s plans to move to London.
According to him, the constant attention surrounding their lives in India had made it difficult for them to enjoy their success and experience a normal family life.
He said the couple wanted to raise their children away from the intense public scrutiny that has frequently surrounded their family.
Anushka has largely stayed away from acting since Zero, which was released in 2018.
She has completed Chakda Xpress, in which she portrays former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, although the film has yet to be released.
Virat has previously spoken about the impact Anushka had on his life after they began dating.
Speaking on the RCB podcast in 2023, the cricketer said:
“I changed a lot after I met her and we started dating.”
