Pictures of Deepika Padukone’s miniature doll have been doing the round on social media and it seems to have received mixed reactions from fans.
It appears sometimes fans take everyone by surprise by doing things that were not anticipated.
The latest craze is the concept of creating replicas of celebrities in the form of a toy.
Recently, Deepika’s replica doll has taken Twitter by storm. The doll is a miniature of the star’s character Rani Padmaavati from the film, Padmaavat (2018).
The striking doll certainly does bear a resemblance to Deepika and has made everyone look twice.
The doll replicates the ensemble, extravagant accessories and hair which Deepika donned for her Padmaavat (2018) avatar.

As a result of the images of the toy circulating online, mixed reactions have surfaced.
One user commented saying, “How can we unsee this doll inspired by Deepika Padukone in Padmaavat (2018).”
Other users shared their interest in having the doll. A user asked, “Can someone gift me this?”
Another Twitter user wondered how her husband Ranveer Singh would react to the replica version of his wife. They said:
“A doll that happens to be the replica of #DeepikaPadukone’s character in film Padmaavat (2018) has caught the attention of her fans on the internet.
“We wonder how husband #RanveerSingh will react after looking at it!”
Interestingly, many fans have agreed that Deepika often resembles a doll and does not require a miniature replica.
Deepika Padukone’s 2019 Met Gala look consisted of a gorgeous pink gown styled with an extravagant high ponytail.
One user commented saying, “Omg she’s looking like someone just opened the box & got Deepika doll out gorgeous.”
Another user also mentioned how Deepika looked like a Barbie Doll. She said:

On the work front, Deepika will be seen on the big screen alongside her husband Ranveer Singh in the upcoming film, 83 (2020).
The film revolves around former cricketer Kapil Dev who led the 1983 Indian cricket team to World Cup victory.
Deepika will also be seen in Shakun Batra’s untitled film alongside Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Meanwhile, Deepika has recently flown to join Ranveer in London. We are yet to see their adorable pictures together.
