"She isn't celebrating Dhurandhar 2's success"
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is enjoying a strong box office opening, however, fans have noticed Deepika Padukone’s apparent silence on the film’s success.
The film, which stars Ranveer Singh, surpassed Rs. 200 Crore in just two days.
This figure is expected to increase substantially over Eid weekend.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues Hamza Ali Mazari’s story as he infiltrates Pakistan’s terror-criminal network.
The film has received a positive reaction, with praise directed at the gripping sequences and Ranveer’s intense performance.
Actors such as Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda shared messages of support on social media.
However, the response from Bollywood has been notably muted. Major figures such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have not publicly commented on the film.
Fans have also noticed that Deepika Padukone hasn’t shared any posts related ot the film’s success nor any likes on Ranveer’s promotions.
She also did not attend the film’s premiere. Instead, Deepika was spotted at Rishab Rikhiram Sharma’s concert with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law.
On social media, one speculated: “She isn’t celebrating Dhurandhar 2‘s success with Ranveer Singh? Maybe she is celebrating with this show.”
Others were more critical of Deepika, with one commenting:
“Deepika Padukone wrote long paragraphs on Instagram about Gaza and JNU, but didn’t post even a single story to congratulate her husband Ranveer Singh and Dhurandhar 2‘s cast on their success. Speaks volumes.”
Another said: “But seriously.
“Why isn’t Deepika Padukone showing support for her husband’s movie Dhurandhar? Quite a deranged attitude.”
A third posted: “Deepika Padukone is a total red flag as a wife.
“Imagine your husband bagging a huge hit and you can’t even drop a post because of your ego. Ranveer deserves better!!!”
One comment read: “Deepika Padukone, as a wife, never posted anything about Dhurandhar 1 and hasn’t shared any appreciative post for Dhurandhar 2 either.
“All this just to be in the good books of SRK.”
Ranveer Singh realizing that many South Indian actors posted about Dhurandhar’s success but his own film industry Bollywood and even his wife Deepika Padukone didn’t post anything.

Some pointed out Yami Gautam’s active support for Aditya Dhar, who directed both Dhurandhar films.
Despite the online attention around this silence, Dhurandhar: The Revenge‘s momentum continues to remain unaffected as it is expected to break records just like its predecessor.
After a special screening of the film, Aditya reflected on the positive response:

“I am overwhelmed with all the responses coming in and even the memes.
