Deepika Padukone accuses Katrina of Stealing her ‘Idea’

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has accused fellow actress Katrina Kaif of plagiarism on Instagram.

Deepika reposted a video of Katrina Kaif washing dishes at home during the Coronavirus lockdown in India.

On Tuesday, 24 March 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the news that the entire nation will be on lockdown for 21 days.

This strict action has been taken in a bid to prevent the rapid spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

As a result of this, many people are isolating at home. During this testing time, there is no doubt people have been taking to social media to share their experiences of isolation.

Deepika informed her fans that Katrina took her idea for a video that she was going to post. She said:

“I regret to inform you that Season 1: Episode 5 stands cancelled because @katrinakaif stole my idea! Hmmff!! #PlagiarismInTheTimeOfCovid19.”

In the allegedly stolen video idea, Katrina can be seen washing the dishes at home while she practises social distancing.

She also came up with a method of optimising washing her dishes. She captioned the video:

“Really makes you appreciate all the help we have at home #socialdistancing #staysafe #helpoutathome.”

Currently, Deepika has been sharing ‘episodes’ of her life in self-quarantine along with her husband Ranveer Singh.

These ‘episodes’ include Deepika practising self-care, rearranging her wardrobe, at-home workouts on the treadmill, eating fruit and making a Nutella dessert for her husband.

Ranveer Singh has also followed his wife and has shared glimpses of his life in lockdown.

He posted an adorable picture of himself with Deepika post their at-home gym workout.

In the picture, Deepika can be seen laughing while Ranveer strikes a serious pose as he has a protective arm around his wife. He captioned it:

Similarly, Katrina has been keeping her fans entertained with regular Instagram posts.

The actress has shared videos of her workouts at home, playing the guitar, cleaning the floors while her sister Isabelle provided commentary.

Katrina also shared a picture of her FaceTime conversation with actors Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor.
