BTS announce World Tour Dates and New Music for 2026

“Namaste Indian ARMY. See you next year.”

BTS have officially revealed world tour plans for 2026 and 2027, confirming a long-awaited live return alongside the release of brand new group music.

2026 is shaping up as a major comeback year, with BTS announcing a large-scale world tour marking their first full live run after an extended hiatus.

The group will return to the stage in April 2026, following time away focused on military service and individual creative projects.

New music is scheduled for release on March 20, arriving just weeks before the tour begins and setting the tone for BTS’s next era.

The upcoming album will be their first group project since going on hiatus, reflecting fresh perspectives shaped by years of solo growth.

The world tour will officially open on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, with multiple nights planned in most cities.

Although venues are yet to be confirmed, the routing strongly suggests stadium-sized shows across key global markets.

Tour dates stretch across Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Australia, highlighting BTS’s continued worldwide reach.

Among the confirmed cities are Tokyo, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Busan, London, Paris, Chicago, Toronto, East Rutherford, Buenos Aires, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Manila.

The tour is set to conclude in March 2027 in the Philippines, closing a year-long global run.

ARMY Membership holders will receive priority ticket access on January 22 and 23, depending on region.

General ticket sales will open on January 24, with high demand expected worldwide.

BTS have been working on new material since July, promising an album shaped by each member’s ideas and shared creative vision.

At the start of the year, RM said, “We’ve waited more earnestly than anyone else.”

Jimin added, “The year we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived,” capturing the group’s renewed sense of anticipation.

V also teased that 2026 would focus on making “even more good memories” with fans.

Last year, BTS explained they were approaching the album with the same mindset they had at the beginning of their career.

They also shared plans to reconnect with fans around the world through live performances once again.

During their time away from group activities, the members remained active across music, touring and military service.

V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin and J-Hope all released solo music, expanding their individual artistry.

Suga, Jin and J-Hope also completed solo tours, gaining valuable live experience outside the group.

J-Hope previously revealed he discussed tour structure with Suga while planning his own shows.

He shared that those conversations helped him understand how to shape performances around personal strengths.

Now, those solo experiences are feeding directly into BTS’s next collective chapter.

With new music arriving in March and a year-long tour ahead, BTS are preparing for their biggest return yet.

Indian BTS ARMY have been waiting with bated breath for confirmation of India on the Asia leg.

Speculation grew after V responded to a fan on WeVerse last month, saying, “Namaste Indian ARMY. See you next year.”

Many Indian K-pop fans interpreted the message as an unofficial hint at BTS’ first ever concert in India in 2026.

HYBE, BTS’s talent management agency, strengthened its India presence after setting up local operations a few years ago.

In partnership with BookMyShow Live, HYBE brought Jung Kook’s exhibition GOLDEN: The Moments to India for the first time.

The exhibition ran in Mumbai from December 16, 2025, to January 11, marking a major milestone for Indian fans.

At an exclusive preview, Anil Sharma, COO of Live Entertainment and Venues at BookMyShow, offered cautious optimism.

He said, “It’ll take time to get BTS to India. But with GOLDEN, The Moments, at least we’ve started a conversation with HYBE.”

When asked about a possible 2026 concert, Sharma added, “This is just the trailer. The best is Yet To Come.”
