“This was my dream! So excited to see you guys.”
Music enthusiasts in Dhaka are eagerly counting down the days to ‘Dhaka Dreams’, a concert that will be headlined by Pakistani band Kaavish.
The two-day concert is set to captivate audiences on January 10 and 11, 2025, at Senaprangan.
Organised by Blue Brick Communications, the event boasts a stellar line-up of local and international talent, along with Kaavish.
This performance marks the band’s debut live show in Dhaka, making it a momentous occasion for their Bangladeshi fans.
Kaavish, celebrated for their poetic lyrics and soul-stirring melodies, has a devoted fan base across South Asia.
Known for blending semi-classical influences with contemporary sounds, they’ve delivered timeless hits like ‘Nindiya Re’, ‘Faasle’, ‘Tere Bina’ and ‘Tere Pyaar Mein’.
Their first-ever performance in Dhaka has been highly anticipated.
Kaavish’s involvement in ‘Dhaka Dreams’ was officially confirmed by the band’s representative, Adil Awan.
The excitement reached new heights after the band shared a video message during the ‘Dhaka Retro’ concert on November 15, 2024.
A fan said: “Kaavish is blessing the whole world with their music.”
One wrote: “I can’t wait! Welcome to Bangladesh.”
Another commented: “This was my dream! So excited to see you guys.”
The concert will kick off on January 10, 2024, with vibrant performances by Bangladeshi bands Level Five and Shunno.
Kaavish will then take centre stage as the headlining act, bringing their signature sound to life for the eager Dhaka audience.
The second night promises to be equally mesmerising, featuring Armeen Musa and the Ghaashphoring Choir.
A standout moment of the evening will be a special collaboration between Bangladesh’s own Shayan Chowdhury Arnob and Indian playback icon Sunidhi Chauhan.
The event will conclude with another dazzling performance by Kaavish, ensuring a grand finale to remember.
Kaavish recently performed at the ‘Coke Studio Live’ concert in Dubai on December 8, 2024.
The band shared the stage with acclaimed artists such as Kaifi Khalil and Abdul Hannan.
Blue Brick Communications, the organisers of the successful ‘Dhaka Retro,’ are once again behind this ambitious event.
Tarek Hossain, head of administration at Blue Brick Communications, expressed enthusiasm for the project.
Tickets for ‘Dhaka Dreams’ are priced at Tk 4,000 and are available on the TicketBhai website.
