Bangladeshi rock band Odd Signature is finally set to return to the stage with a comeback performance.

The concert, dubbed Odd Signature: The Comeback, will be held on August 1, 2025.

The venue for the concert is the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium in Dhaka.

The show is scheduled to begin at 3 pm and will feature a mix of old favourites, unreleased tracks, and some surprise guests.

Odd Signature had stepped away from the spotlight after a devastating road accident in August 2023, which resulted in the deaths of guitarist-vocalist Ahasan Tanvir Pial and driver Abdus Salam.

Three other band members were seriously injured in the crash, leaving the country’s music community and their fan base in mourning.

Since the accident, fans have continuously urged the band to return, flooding social media with messages of love and encouragement.

But out of respect for their late members and under pressure from concerned families, Odd Signature remained offstage until now.

In May 2025, the band quietly released a new song, ‘Jagat Mancha’, signalling a cautious but clear return to the music scene.

Band member Amitabh confirmed the upcoming concert and shared that it would include special guest appearances.

He also revealed that the band would debut new tracks and announce new band members during the event.

Amitabh said: “Although this will be a solo concert, a few guest artists will be joining us.

“Alongside our known tracks, we plan to debut some previously unreleased songs.”

He added that the concert would serve as both a tribute to Pial and a declaration of the band’s future direction.

Formed in 2017, Odd Signature carved a niche in Bangladesh’s alternative and indie rock scene with their emotionally resonant songwriting.

Their hit track ‘Amar Dehokhan’ became a youth anthem, while songs like ‘Ghum’, ‘Prostab’, ‘Dushswapno’, and ‘Mondo’ built a loyal following.

The August 1 concert marks the band’s first full performance since the accident and is expected to draw fans from across the country.

Tickets for Odd Signature: The Comeback will go on sale next week, with updates and details to be shared through the band’s official social media channels.

Long-time fans of the band Odd Signature are desperately waiting for their first performance in years.
