Bollywood stars are not only known for their acting skills but are also known for their envious immense level of fitness which is certainly inspiring to many people.

During the coronavirus lockdown, Bollywood actors and actresses have been taking to social media to share their workout videos with their fan following.

These include stars like Katrina Kaif, Shilpa Shetty, Anushka Sharma, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and more.

Their workouts range from squats, burpees, push-ups, plank, running, lunges, mountain climbers and much more.

We present a host of Bollywood stars who have been keeping their fans up-to-date with their exercise routine to keep fit during the quarantine.

Katrina Kaif

Considered to be one of the fittest Bollywood stars, Katrina Kaif has been updating her fans with various workout videos on Instagram.

During the lockdown, the actress has made it a point to maintain her level of fitness.

Katrina shared various split-screen videos of her workout from her terrace. The videos feature Katrina and her trainer Yasmin Karachiwala who was working from home due to social distancing.

In the introductory video, Katrina explains that because of social distancing they have decided to split the screen to show both of their workouts.

Katrina also shared her warmup and workout routine in the caption. She wrote:

Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty is not only keeping herself active, in fact, she is keeping her entire family fit and healthy during the lockdown.

Taking to Instagram, Shilpa posted a video of herself exercising with her husband Raj and son Viaan.

In the video, the trio is seen doing Hindu push-ups which were modified to allow their son to take part. Shilpa captioned the video:

“Let’s help our kids stay active & healthy. With a young and active child in the house, I know how important it is to keep the kids busy through this time.

“The energy that they spend doing their regular activities remain pent up inside with no release whatsoever!

“So, only sharing some ideas with all the parents out here to make sure that your child gets enough activity/exercise through the day.

“It’s very easy for the boredom to lead to irritation and restlessness, but it’s important that we become their friends and keep them company now, more than ever before.

Not just Shilpa Shetty, it appears her mother-in-law has also made the initiative to stay healthy during the lockdown.

The Bollywood actress shared another video on her Instagram, this time of her 68-year-old mother-in-law doing some free-hand exercises. She captioned it:

“My 68-year-old Mom-in-law working out and I sneaked up on her… this is sooo inspiring.”

“She’s highly diabetic but just the fact that she takes the time out to walk (even if it’s around the house) or do yoga/stretch or breathe… she makes that effort.

“I respect the discipline she maintains, only shows that she ‘values’ her health. This video is so inspiring, it is proof that it’s never too late to start.”

Shraddha Kapoor

Actress Shraddha Kapoor has been inspiring fans with her incredible fitness videos on social media.

Shraddha took to the terrace for this video as she shared her workout session during the lockdown.

The actress is seen wearing neon yellow shorts teamed with a black vest. She captioned it:

In the video, the Bollywood beauty can be seen in three frames. In the first, we can see the actress running back.

In the second frame, Shraddha is seen running towards the camera while in the third she is seen squatting.

Upon seeing his sister’s workout, actor Siddhant Kapoor took to the comment section to praise Shraddha’s fitness app saying, “Hehehehe too good this app is.”

Sara Ali Khan

Bollywood star Sara Ali Khan is known for her rigorous fitness routine which helps her maintain her amazing figure.

Previously, the actress suffered from being overweight but shed the pounds before making her Bollywood debut in 2018 with the film Kedarnath.

Fitness fanatic Sara shared a video of her intense workout session during lockdown from the comfort of her home. She captioned it:

Actress Deepika Padukone has been giving her fans a glimpse into her life during lockdown via her quarantine episodes on Instagram.

In Season 1: Episode 4, Deepika posted a video of herself on the treadmill. She captioned it:

“One Two…ChaChaCha. Productivity in the time of COVID-19! #exercise.”

As well as sharing fitness videos, Deepika appeared in a Hangout video with journalist Rajeev Masand.
