Allu Arjun reveals Pushpa 2 punchline: ‘Aslu Thaggedhele’

Allu Arjun shared an update from his hugely-awaited film ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. The superstar introduced the catchphrase for the sequel.

Allu Arjun is all set to commence shooting for Pushpa: The Rule, also known as Pushpa 2 in November 2022.

The actor gave the update on November 6, 2022, at an event for his brother Allu Sirish’s new film Urvasivo Rakshshivo.

At the end of the event, Arjun spoke about Pushpa 2.

Even though he did not reveal a lot of details, he shared the new punchline that he will be using in the film.

He said he hoped that the excitement he has for the film touches the fans as well.

A clip from Arjun’s speech at the event about Pushpa 2 has surfaced on social media.

In the clip, he said: “I know all of you have been asking me for updates about Pushpa 2.

“I have a small one. If it was ‘Thaggedhe Le’ in Pushpa 1, it’ll be ‘Asalu Thaggedhe Le’ in Pushpa 2.

“Definitely, I’m hoping everything will turn out to be positive. I’m excited, I hope that excitement touches you too.”

Pushpa: The Rise went on floors on October 30, 2022, with a look test.

The film’s cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek shared a picture from the sets on Instagram.

He captioned the post as the beginning of the adventure.

Pushpa: The Rule will focus on the face-off between Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, who was introduced as the prime antagonist towards the end of the first part.

The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna.

The project was officially launched in August 2022 with a pooja ceremony.

Originally shot in Telugu, Pushpa: The Rise was dubbed and released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

It is the first film for Allu Arjun to have a simultaneous release in five languages.

Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise became a huge hit across the country.

Meanwhile, Pushpa: The Rise, will be released in Russia in December 2022.

A source close to the development said that the team is all excited to release Pushpa part 1 in Russia in December, after its phenomenal response at the special screening of the Moscow Film Festival.

The source said: “Allu is currently occupied with other work commitments and depending on his schedule, the makers will lock the release date.”

Arjun is expected to travel to Russia for film promotions as this would be his first Russian release.

Pushpa: The Rise was selected by the Moscow International Film Festival under the category, ‘Blockbuster hits around the world’ and was screened on August 30, 2022.

The lead actor recently represented India in New York as Grand Marshall at the annual Indian day parade.
