Allu Arjun has been granted a four-week bail.

The star was arrested over a tragic stampede at the premiere of Pushpa 2 in Hyderabad.

The incident, which occurred on December 4, 2024, led to the tragic death of a 39-year-old woman and left her son injured.

Allu Arjun had to spend a night in jail due to delays in paperwork.

The next day, he was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court for four weeks after it ruled there was no malicious intent on his part in the incident.

Following this, the actor was released on a personal bond of Rs. 50,000.

Upon his release, Allu Arjun expressed his deep regret for the unfortunate event, offering heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased.

In a media interaction, he said: “This was a very unfortunate incident, and we are extremely sorry for whatever happened.

“We are with the family, and I am here to support them in every way.”

The actor reiterated his belief in the law and confirmed his cooperation with the ongoing police investigation into the stampede.

The tragic event at the Pushpa 2 premiere has raised concerns about crowd management at high-profile events, leading to a thorough inquiry.

Despite the controversy surrounding his arrest, Allu Arjun’s work continues to shine, with Pushpa 2 breaking records at the box office.

The film earned an impressive Rs. 762 crore in India and over Rs. 1,100 crore globally within the first nine days.

This marks the highest first-week earnings in Indian cinema history.

Back at his residence in Hyderabad, Allu Arjun was welcomed by a supportive crowd of colleagues from the Telugu film industry.

Stars like Naga Chaitanya, Rana Daggubati, and Vijay Deverakonda visited his home to offer their support.

Videos and photos from the gathering showed Rana Daggubati sharing a warm hug with the actor.

In another video, Naga Chaitanya was seen holding Allu’s hand during a conversation.

Despite the tragic event, Allu Arjun’s fans and colleagues continue to rally behind him.

They emphasised that his remorse and support for the affected family are genuine.

A fan said: “The tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre was caused by an uncontrollable stampede, not Allu Arjun.

“It’s unjust to blame one individual when the failure lies with the event organisers.”

One said: “You are innocent and a humble soul.”
