"she was clearly high on drugs."
Alizeh Shah has been accused of acting unprofessionally and being under the influence of drugs whilst working on set.
The accusations come from Minsa Malik, who also claimed that Alizeh tried to physically harm her.
The actress proceeded to lodge a complaint against Alizeh at the Women Centre G-7 police station in Islamabad.
According to the complaint, Minsa was tortured by Alizeh whilst filming together and a lit marijuana joint was thrown at her.
Minsa alleged: “The camera was rolling and I was in the scene.
“Alizeh Shah was also present, and she was clearly high on drugs. She approached me and threw a marijuana cigarette at me.
“I moved back to avoid her, and in reaction, I slapped her.
“She then started acting violently. She used abusive language and tore her own clothes while yelling.
“Alizeh Shah tried to throw her sandal at me, but I moved out of the way.
“She was completely high when she misbehaved. The camera shooting the scenes also captured the video of us during the chaos.
“Alizeh insisted that the video should not get out, as it would be the ultimate source of her defamation.”
Minsa also revealed that since the beginning of their shoot together, Alizeh’s behaviour was not good and that she believed she was doing this out of professional jealousy.
According to Minsa, the incident occurred during the evening of August 15, 2023.
She has since asked the authorities for security.
Alizeh has not given a response to the allegations.
This is not the first time Alizeh has been involved in controversy.
In December 2021, Alizeh Shah was filmed sitting in a car with friends whilst puffing on a cigarette.
When the video went viral, many criticised the actress. Some called Alizeh a hypocrite and accused her of corrupting Pakistani culture.
Others believed Alizeh was actually smoking marijuana.
She was also deemed unprofessional by actor and director Yasir Nawaz, but he later apologised to her and said that his behaviour was disrespectful and uncalled for.
Alizeh is a talented actress who has appeared in popular dramas such as Taqdeer, Sinf-e-Aahan, Bebasi and Taana Baana.
She made her acting debut in 2016, playing Alina in the drama series Choti Si Zindagi.
Meanwhile, Minsa Malik has appeared in dramas such as Aulaad, Ant-ul-Hayat, Deedan and Nand.
