"in reality this other woman slapped Alizeh first"
Alizeh Shah has responded to allegations made by Minsa Malik stating she was under the influence of drugs and became violent on set during the filming of a drama serial.
Alizeh came onto Instagram to share a story which was posted by blogger Ayesha Jahangir Malik, and simply captioned the story:
“The truth will always come to light.”
Ayesha revealed in her story that an anonymous eyewitness on the set during the alleged incident stated that it was in fact Minsa who slapped Alizeh first.
The story read: “An anonymous source [on the set] tipped me off about this one incident that has been taking rounds on social media, regarding Alizeh Shah and a fellow actress who accused Alizeh of misconduct.
“When in reality this other woman slapped Alizeh first and initiated the physical violence, breaking all professionalism on set.
“The crew and fellow artists are on Alizeh’s side because the incident occurred around 6 pm and Alizeh did not leave the set until 12 am, after she completed her shoot, even after being humiliated and assaulted in front of everyone.
“And that speaks volumes of her work ethic.
“So my advice is don’t believe everything that you guys see on social media without hearing someone else’s story first.”
The development came after Minsa Malik claimed Alizeh was abusive towards her.
Minsa said: “The camera was rolling and I was in the scene.
“Alizeh Shah was also present and she was clearly high on drugs. She approached me and threw a marijuana cigarette at me.
“I moved back to avoid her, and in reaction, I slapped her.
“She then started acting violently. She used abusive language and tore her own clothes whilst yelling.
“She was completely high when she misbehaved. The camera shooting the scenes also captured the video of us during the chaos.”
Digital content creator Shazma Karam showed her support for Alizeh Shah and stated that she would come out of these accusations stronger.
Shazma wrote:
“Even this shall pass my doll. Stay strong, love you so much.”
“Seriously, she is one of the most humble people I have ever come across in my life. I am truly saddened after seeing what could be easily believed and spread on the internet.
“Indeed social media has a positive side, but a lot of negativity as well.
“Never leaving your side, may Allah take you out of this mess and bless you with everything best. Ameen.”
