Indian content studio, Applause Entertainment, has secured the exclusive screen rights to six of Jeffrey Archer’s most iconic novels.
The acquisition marks the studio’s first global fiction project and a major step in its international expansion.
Titles include The Clifton Chronicles, Fourth Estate, First Among Equals, The Eleventh Commandment, Sons of Fortune, and Heads You Win.
These stories span political drama, espionage, media power struggles, and multi-generational family sagas. Archer’s hallmark style of fast-paced, character-driven storytelling underpins each title.
Applause plans to adapt the novels into premium series and feature films across various languages and platforms.
The studio aims to bring the worlds of one of the best-selling authors in history to global audiences with productions “made in India for the world”.

Applause Entertainment has built a reputation for creating acclaimed series and films, with credits including The Hunt, Criminal Justice and Scam.
It has also produced films like Zwigato, Por Thozhil, Do Aur Do Pyaar and Sharmajee Ki Beti, along with the docu-series Modern Masters.
Jeffrey Archer is one of the world’s most widely read authors, with over 300 million copies sold across 115 countries and 49 languages.
He is the only writer to have topped the bestseller lists in fiction, short stories, and non-fiction.
His latest novel, End Game, the eighth in the William Warwick series, will be published on September 23, 2025.
