The first poster of Haiwaan, featuring actors Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, was released recently.
The upcoming film was released on July 15, 2026, to generate excitement among audiences.
Director Priyadarshan brings this project to audiences as an official remake of his film.
The original film was a 2016 Malayalam film titled Oppam, directed by Priyadarshan.
Akshay shared the first look of himself and Saif from the film on social media.
He wrote: “One sees everything, One misses nothing, Haiwaniyat ab nahin rukegi (The monstrosity cannot be stopped now).
“Haiwaan arrives in cinemas on 11th September.”
Among the three posters from the film, Akshay appeared in a black beanie.
Heavy shadows outlined his face, creating a sharp red silhouette overall.
The tagline for his poster read: “Vengeance sees everything.”
In the second poster, a green-and-red neon image featured Saif prominently.
Saif is shown with an intense, unblinking glare throughout the poster.
The tagline for his poster read: “Every sense is a weapon.”
The third poster was a striking split-tone visual in aggressive red and gold.
It shows a maniacally grinning Akshay alongside a brooding, sharp-eyed Saif.
A child’s silhouette hints at the high-stakes plot central to the narrative.

Haiwaan also features actor Saiyami Kher in a key supporting role.
Produced by KVN Productions in association with Thespian Films, the film is jointly backed by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn.
The production team has assembled considerable resources for this ambitious project.
Haiwaan has been shot in Kochi, Kerala, throughout the filming process.
The film marks Akshay and Saif’s reunion after seventeen years.
The duo last worked together in director Vijay Krishna Acharya’s film titled Tashan in 2008.
Tashan was an action-thriller featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Anil Kapoor.
Both actors were excellent in their roles in that particular film.
Akshay and Saif have also shared screen space in several other films.
They appeared together in Main Khiladi Tu Anari in their early careers.
Yeh Dillagi was another film they appeared in together during that period.
Tu Chor Main Sipahi featured both actors in leading roles together.
Aarzoo was another collaboration between the two accomplished actors.
Their camaraderie in previous collaborations has been well received by audiences.
After such a long gap, fans are excited to see Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan reunite on screens.
