"Freedom is in acceptance."
Affan Waheed is one of the most acclaimed actors on Pakistani television.
He is often praised for his talent as well as his good looks.
However, Affan recently talked about the discussions which often take place about the appearances of actors.
He said that actors should not be judged for their looks and had some clear opinions.
Appearing on Adnan Faisal’s podcast, Affan Waheed said: “No actor can stay young forever.
“If an actor is ageing and becoming mature, people say, ‘They’re getting old’.
“On the other hand, if they do something to their faces, people say, ‘They are not comfortable with their skin’.
“I think you should have the freedom to do what you want.”
A guest who was with Affan on the show added: “I’m often with my friends and we talk about certain things.
“I say, ‘Thank God Diana has passed’.
“Because she was so beautiful and if she had aged, people would not have spared her.
“In the entire world, if someone’s getting old or young, they aren’t left alone.”
Affan Waheed continued: “If you have acceptance, you don’t care. Freedom is in acceptance.
“Life is all about falling and getting back up.”
Affan recently divulged his thoughts about the importance of love.
He said: “You should explore new chances of love. Love is so much for me.
“Love in its truest form can also help you become a better person.
“It can make you happy and you only realise your best qualities when you are in love with someone.
“You can also recognise a lot of your triggers and your talent.
“This is all part of the process. You should not expect anything from love.
“If you’re truly in love, it is so powerful that it will just take you where it has to go. It doesn’t let you think.”
In January 2024, Affan Waheed and Dur-e-Fishan Saleem were rumoured to be married.
This came after the actors did a wedding photoshoot together.
Addressing the rumours, Affan said: “After a wedding-themed shoot with a successful on-screen partner, fake news tends to spread.
“It was a photo shoot for a brand, nothing more than that. The drama was a hit. We do bridal shoots.
“People think we’ve gotten married. Especially on YouTube.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Affan Waheed was last seen in Beyhadh (2024).
