Yumna Zaidi has set the record for the most Lux Style Award wins by a TV actress with a total of six wins.

Her latest win, for her portrayal of Meerub in Tere Bin, marks her sixth Lux Style Award for Best Actress.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Yumna expressed gratitude not only to her fans but also to those who criticised Tere Bin.

The actress wrote: “A heartfelt thank you to my supporters as well as the critics of Tere Bin, as they presented me with a chance to analyse, correct myself, and grow.”

Yumna also acknowledged the contributions of her co-star Wahaj Ali, who played Murtasim in the series.

She credited his performance for bringing balance and depth to Meerub’s journey, saying the character felt whole because of his presence.

She extended her thanks to the producers Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, as well as the entire Lux Style Awards team.

Though Tere Bin has drawn mixed reactions for its dramatic storytelling, Yumna’s nuanced performance was widely praised.
