What did Deepika ask Ranveer to bring back from Chennai?

Deepika Padukone has sent a specific request to her husband Ranveer Singh asking him to bring back “Mysore Pak” and “Potato Chips” from Chennai.

Ranveer and Deepika are one of Bollywood’s most loved star couples who are known for their social media PDA. Their adorable moments are praised by fans who admire their relationship.

Recently, Ranveer Singh flew to Chennai for the promotions of his upcoming sports film 83 (2020) directed by Kabir Khan.

In the film, Ranveer will be seen portraying the role of former India Cricket team captain Kapi Dev. He led the team to victory against the West Indies in the 1983 World Cup.

Alongside Ranveer, Deepika will be playing the role of his on-screen wife, Romi Bhatia.

Before he flew out, on Saturday, January 25, 2020, Ranveer took to Instagram to share a picture of himself along with his 83 teammates. He captioned it: “KAPIL’S DEVILS STORM CHENNAI.”

Yet it was Deepika’s comment that caught the attention of fans. On her husband’s post, Deepika told her husband not to come back unless he bought her Mysore Pak and potato chips.

She wrote: “Don’t come back without 1kg Mysore Pak from Shree Krishna and 2 ½kg packets of Spicy Potato Chips from Hot Chips!”

Previously, Deepika Padukone has declared that she is a foodie and it seems this is certainly testimony to that.

Deepika’s request resulted in the couple finding themselves a place on the social media trends list as well as winning the hearts of millions.

Instagram users and fans of the couple were quick to react to Deepika’s comment.

One user said: “Deepika is (a) true South Indian” while another commented saying: “Wife goals.”

Shortly after Deepika Padukone placed her order, director Kabir Khan’s wife, Mini Mathur requested her husband for the same order from Chennai.

She said: “Kabir Khan, kindly repeat the same order.”

Despite their requests, we are left wondering whether the ladies received their orders from their respective husbands.

On the film front, 83 is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2020. This will be the first time Deepika and Ranveer will reunite on the silver screen after their wedding in 2018.

83 also features an extravagant star-studded line up including Saqib Saleem, Jiva, Hardy Sandhu, Ammy Virk and many more.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see the couple ignite the big screen together. 83 is due to hit the silver screen on April 10, 2020.
