“Umar deserves this. It’s karma.”
Umar Riaz has become the latest contestant to be evicted from Bigg Boss 15.
Salman Khan announced Umar’s name in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode in a shocking elimination.
His eviction has divided fans of the show and fellow celebrities.
Upon his exit, Umar took to Twitter and thanked his fans for their constant support.
Umar wrote: “My audience, my army can never eliminate me.
“That’s impossible. I want to thank each and every one of my fans from India and all across the world for being my bedrock throughout and still. #UmarArmy.”
Umar had recently got into a physical fight with fellow contestant Pratik Sehajpal during a task.
Instead of immediately eliminating him for breaking one of the rules, Bigg Boss decided to leave it to the audience to decide whether Umar deserved to remain in the show or not.
Salman Khan cited the fight as the immediate reason for Umar’s eviction.
The host added that despite multiple warnings about his behaviour, Umar Riaz continued to engage in fights with the other contestants.
Umar’s exit left his friends Karan Kundrra and Rashami Desai in an inconsolable state.
The official Twitter handle of Rashami Desai tweeted:
“The bond is and will always be better and stronger and we as a team and family want to thank you.
“Umar, you truly are a gem and we are so glad we got to know you more from the show.”
Umar’s fans also shared their support for the reality TV star on social media.
One user said: “Whether you won or not, you won the heart of millions. Umar, this is just the beginning.”
Another added: “Umar was always too good for Bigg Boss.
“He didn’t deserve to be eliminated and it’s unfair because Karan and Pratik always get in fights and Bigg Boss does nothing.”
However, Gauahar Khan, the winner of Bigg Boss 7 called out Umar’s anger on the show.
She tweeted: “Sorry to say, but he was evicted because he was extremely aggressive.
“Not once but on many occasions. I’m surprised he wasn’t evicted before.”
“Karan has been extremely aggressive too. What’s actually unfair is that multiple chances are given to many offenders. It’s a mental game.”
Some netizens took Gauahar’s side and shared their thoughts on Umar Riaz’s eviction.
One user wrote: “Umar deserves this. It’s karma.”
Another commented: “Finally there were consequences for breaking the rules. So many contestants get away with their actions.”
A third added: “I am not sad to see Umar leave. If you break the rules, you have to go. That’s it.”
The remaining Bigg Boss 15 contestants include Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Shamita Shetty, Pratik Sehajpal, Nishant Bhat, Rakhi Sawant, Rashami Desai, Abhijeet Bichukale and Devoleena Bhattacharjee.
