"It always comes back at some point in life"
Twitter users continue to criticise Ranbir Kapoor and have now taken to the platform to share their honest opinions about the actor.
The actor received a lot of flak after he made “insensitive” comments about his wife Alia Bhatt.
During a live session, the stars spoke about why they are not promoting Brahmastra in the way that they usually do for other films.
Alia explained: “We will do it (promote the film extensively). If you are asking why we are not phailod (spreading) everywhere… right now our focus is…”
Ranbir then interrupted and said: “Well, I can see somebody has phailod.”
He made the comment whilst looking at her stomach. Alia, who is pregnant, looked down and was shocked.
Ranbir quickly stated that it was a joke and rubbed her back. He then said she has phailod cutely.
While Alia did not take the comment to heart and resumed her point, social media users were unimpressed.
Many slammed the actor for making fun of Alia’s weight gain.
It now seems that social media users are still unhappy with Ranbir and have decided to share other times he has been disrespectful towards female co-stars.
One user shared a clip of Katrina Kaif and Ranbir promoting Jagga Jasoos. During the interview, he frequently interrupts her.

Others brought up an interview where Ranbir publicly outed Anushka Sharma’s mental health issues, referring to her as an “anxiety queen” while she is sitting next to him.
Ranbir goes on to say that the actress takes anti-anxiety pills because she gets “frantic”.
The interviewer shockingly sides with Ranbir, recalling a moment when Anushka got upset with her for allegedly “using her medication against” her.
Anushka laughed off the comments.
She then hit back at Ranbir, stating that he also takes drugs to become more upbeat. Anuskha implied that he does cocaine, to which Ranbir says:
“Don’t say that Anushka. That’s wrong. You cannot say that on television.”

Some took to Twitter to criticise his behaviour.
One user commented: “Whatever is happening with Ranbir Kapoor just proves you can never expect to live peacefully after hurting women.
“It always comes back at some point in life, you’ll always have to face the consequences of your actions.”
Another wrote: “Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif really won at life by dumping Ranbir Kapoor and choosing Ranveer and Vicky.”
A third said
“Nobody can play a misogynistic character better than Ranbir Kapoor. It’s in his blood.”
Other users aimed digs at Ranbir’s acting.
One said: “Jumping on the Ranbir Kapoor hate train I just want to say – that man has never been a good actor, he cycles through the same 3 expressions for all characters in all his films and the only thing deep about him is the set of his eyes.”
Another wrote: “Now that we all are hating Ranbir Kapoor, I just want to come out and say that YJHD is a very cliche movie and Bunny is one of the most unlikeable characters in the history of Bollywood.
“There, I said it. I just had to get it out of my system.”
