The trailer reveals the close relationship between Laxman and his brother.
After much anticipation, the first Tubelight trailer has finally released. The historical drama, featuring Salman Khan and Zhu Zhu, has only shown a short teaser on YouTube, revealing very little to fans.
However, on 25th May 2017, the first full trailer arrived on the internet. Fans will have to wait until 23rd June 2017 for the actual film’s release.
This time, the Tubelight trailer features more of Salman Khan, starring as the main character Laxman. Depicting a “slow”, yet loveable character.
The trailer also reveals more of Tubelight‘s story, Laxman’s brother, played by Sohail Khan has to take part in the Sino-Indian war.

We also get a quick glimpse of Salman’s co-star Zhu Zhu. However, it remains tight-lipped on the reported romance between the main characters. Instead, the trailer reveals the close relationship between Laxman and his brother.
But when Laxman’s brother gets called to join the fight, he later goes missing. Salman’s Khan character decides he has to embark on a mission to find him.
For the launch, organisers created an event for the trailer. Located in Mumbai, even Salman Khan appeared in attendance.
The actor spoke on the late Om Puri’s appearance in the film. Tubelight marks as the last film the legendary actor worked on, and his death shocked the cast.
Revealing the everlasting sadness he feels for the actor’s death, Salman said: “Whenever I see Om Puri in the trailer and songs, it kills me. I have worked a lot with him. One moment he was there and one moment he is gone.”
Earlier in the day, he had shared a brand new film poster for Tubelight. Judging by the reaction it received, many could not wait to finally see more of the action-packed film.

This tale of brothers, love and conflict will surely become a great success when it’s released.
While also capturing the brutal reality of the conflict, it’s set to contain action and tragedy. We also witness soldiers venturing into horrific battles, fighting for their country’s cause.
