"I love embracing my heritage—it’s when I feel most beautiful.”
Amber-Rose Badrudin, a standout contestant in the 2025 series of The Apprentice, stepped into the world of fashion with her first-ever cover shoot— and she did it in style.
Draped in breathtaking Desi ensembles, she brought elegance and heritage to the spotlight.
Showcasing exquisite pieces from BIBI London, Amber-Rose paid tribute to her South Asian roots, sharing a glimpse behind the scenes with her followers.
Each look was a perfect blend of tradition and glamour.
In one striking moment, she stunned in a shimmering black lehenga adorned with intricate gold detailing.
Her burgundy tresses, styled in soft curls, effortlessly complemented the dramatic backdrop, creating a picture-perfect aesthetic.
For her second ensemble, the entrepreneur embraced sheer sophistication.
The semi-sheer outfit, embellished with delicate leafy patterns and golden accents, exuded ethereal charm.

Her makeup, by renowned bridal artist Saima Akram, was kept minimal—allowing her radiant ethnic wear to take centre stage.
Each look was elevated with flawless beauty choices.
The black lehenga was paired with sultry smoky eyes and a deep pink lip, while the semi-sheer outfit was complemented by softer tones—a lighter smoky eye and a subtle pink gloss.
Amber-Rose’s final ensemble was a vision in white.
The modest yet regal outfit featured textured patterns and sheer full-length sleeves, exuding grace and sophistication.
Adding the perfect finishing touch, dazzling pieces from Heritage Jewels completed her looks, solidifying her transformation into a true South Asian fashion icon.

The fashion shoot was for Luxurist and speaking to the magazine, Amber-Rose Badrudin was excited to have taken part in her first cover shoot:
“It’s my first South Asian shoot. I love embracing my heritage—it’s when I feel most beautiful.”

At 22, Amber-Rose founded Oree Mart, a Croydon-based Asian convenience store that quickly became a thriving online brand.
This was helped in part by her online presence.
With over 700,000 TikTok followers, Amber-Rose has shared her candid entrepreneurial journey.
She explained: “Consistency is key. I sacrificed sleep to create content, but I wanted to share my journey authentically.”

But breaking into business hasn’t been easy for Amber-Rose. As a young South Asian woman, she has faced scepticism, stereotypes, and doubters.
She said: “People assume I haven’t worked hard or that I had a handout.”
But instead of letting it deter her, she uses it to drive her:
“I love being the underdog. When people underestimate me, I work even harder.
“South Asians are born with grit. We work twice as hard to achieve what others do.”

Becoming a candidate on The Apprentice was a full-circle moment for Amber-Rose, who said:
“It was always a massive goal for me.
“The audition process was intense—hundreds of thousands apply, and only a few make it.”
“Just getting selected felt like an achievement.”

And meeting Lord Sugar was just as intense as she had imagined:
“He is exactly as he appears on TV. “You can probably see that in the boardroom I’m a little bit nervous when I first go in!”
Meanwhile, in The Apprentice, Amber-Rose Badrudin has won four out of five tasks and is emerging as one of the candidates to go far in the business competition.
