Tanjin Tisha has finally responded to accusations of fraud after a fashion brand claimed she failed to deliver on a promotional agreement.

Earlier, Zhinuk, the owner of the online boutique Aponia, alleged that Tisha took a yellow Jamdani saree worth Tk 28,800 in January 2025.

According to Zhinuk, the saree was given as a gift under the condition that the actor would promote it on social media.

She claimed Tisha agreed to wear the saree, post professional photos, and tag the brand on Instagram, but never followed through.

After ten months of waiting, the brand says they were left with voice messages and empty promises from the star before she stopped responding.

Zhinuk told media outlets that she is now demanding either the full payment or legal action if the matter remains unresolved.

The boutique owner also expressed frustration at being ignored despite having clear terms for the collaboration, which she insists were verbally agreed upon.

Tisha, who is currently shooting her debut feature film Soldier, responded with a sarcastic Instagram story rejecting the allegations as baseless.

She wrote: “Took a gift and now I’m a fraud? Haha!”

Tisha also wished the boutique owner well, referring to the saree as a “so-called gift” and suggesting that expectations were unclear.

She questioned:

“And if you wanted a proper photoshoot, where’s the payment? Strange businesswoman!”

The saree controversy erupted just as Tisha began filming Soldier, a big-budget patriotic action drama where she stars opposite Shakib Khan.

Directed by Shakeeb Fahad, the film also includes seasoned actors like Tariq Anam Khan, Tauquir Ahmed, and Jannatul Ferdous Oishee.

Although Tisha has not formally announced the film on her social media accounts, she dropped a hint at a recent award event.

Without naming the project, she told reporters: “I’ve started a new journey. All I ask is for your prayers and support.”

Sources close to the project say Soldier revolves around resilience and national pride, with a tentative release date set for late 2025.

Tanjin Tisha, who has built a strong presence in television and commercials, is now looking to expand her career into full-length feature films.

Despite the growing hype around her big-screen debut, the saree controversy has temporarily shifted attention away from her cinematic journey.

Whether the matter will be resolved privately or in court remains unclear, but social media continues to buzz with opinions on both sides.
