"I was late to that party, yes"
Karan Johar revealed when he lost his virginity and left Janhvi shocked with a scandalous claim about her family.
The pair will appear on the upcoming episode of Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle.
The light-hearted chat quickly turned into a viral moment when Janhvi challenged Karan to reveal one scandalous truth and one lie.
Karan grinned and said: “I lost my virginity when I was 26 years old, and I have been intimately involved with a member of your family.”
His comments stunned Janhvi while Kajol and Twinkle Khanna burst into laughter.
Revealing that he was being truthful about his virginity, Karan said:
“I was late to that party, yes, but the latter is a lie.
“I have not been intimate with any member of your family, though the thought has crossed my mind a couple of times.”
The banter didn’t stop there. Kajol and Twinkle asked Karan to rank Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Janhvi’s boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, along with his brother Veer, in terms of sex appeal.
Janhvi said: “Can I just say that Shikhar looks great riding a horse.
“I remember when Shikhar was playing polo and Ranveer was standing with me and he was like, ‘He looks great on a horse’. And I was like yeah.”
Karan responded: “I am trying to unsee Shikhar on this horse and rank them in order: Akshay, Ajay, and then the brothers.
“They have grown up in front of me, they are my neighbours, they live just below my apartment.”
Janhvi Kapoor’s romance with Shikhar Pahariya has been the talk of the town, fuelling speculation about a possible wedding.
While she has dismissed such rumours, the actress has openly shared her future plans.
During an appearance on Komal Nahta’s show, Janhvi said: “I have this plan of eventually getting married and settling down in Tirumala Tirupati with my husband and three kids.
“We’d eat on banana leaves every day and hear ‘Govinda Govinda’. I’ll have mogras in my hair and will listen to Mani Ratnam’s music. I’d do tel champi on my husband in his lungi.”
Janhvi has long shared a strong professional bond with Karan Johar and his production house, Dharma Productions.
Her acting debut came in 2018 with Dhadak, a romantic drama produced by Karan.
Since then, she has continued to collaborate with Karan on several projects, including Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, where she made a cameo appearance.
Their latest venture, Mr & Mrs Mahi, further highlights their steady creative partnership.
Most recently, Janhvi starred in Homebound, produced by Karan Johar and directed by Neeraj Ghaywan.
The film has made waves internationally, screening at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM).
Adding to the momentum, Homebound was announced as India’s official entry for the 2026 Oscars in the Best International Feature Film category.
