As SRK stands next to Dilip Kumar, it certainly is a heartwarming moment!
A joint photo of Shahrukh Khan with veteran Bollywood actor, Dilip Kumar has gone on viral on social media. The iconic Raees actor paid a visit to Dilip at his residence on 12th February 2018.
Since 2017, the yesteryear star’s health has been a concern for a while now.
During the visit, they both stood together for a photo, which was soon shared on Dilip’s Twitter account by a family friend named Faisal Farooqui. As SRK stands next to the actor, it certainly is a heartwarming moment!
In addition, even though Dilip Saab looks slightly frail, it’s a delight to see him happy as he poses for the photo alongside SRK.

One of the images also shows Shahrukh kisses the icon’s cheek, showing their close friendship.
The image quickly went viral and considering that it shows two superstars together in one frame, this is no surprise.

Shahrukh has always been vocal about his love towards the veteran actor and is a regular visitor at the star’s residence. Dilip’s health began to deteriorate in 2017 – when he became hospitalised, SRK made sure to pay a visit to his idol.
The two superstars go way back. When SRK had signed his first film Dil Aashna Hai (1992), he invited Dilip and wife Saira Banu for the Mahurat. In fact, the veteran actor even gave the ceremonial clap at the start of the film.
Saira had given a statement last year saying how SRK spent time with the 95-year-old actor after he was back from the hospital. She said: “I even saw him chanting a dua under his breath and blowing it on Saab’s face.”
In the past, she has even referred to Shahrukh as their, ‘mooh-bola-beta’ (like a son).
Now with this picture, no wonder fans of both superstars felt delighted to see it and quickly made it viral. In particular, they commented on how his gesture felt amazing and inspirational. One fan said:
“Glad to see Mr Srk still respects the legendary actor Dilip Saab. It’s very rare nowadays, so many new actors are there but we still like the old classic movies.”
Another tweet was posted by Faisal Farooqui on 13th February 2018. Using Dilip’s account, he gave love to all the fans after receiving tons of messages.

Dilip Kumar is known to be one of the finest actors of Indian cinema. His career spanned amazing 6 decades and over 65 films, featuring in blockbusters such as Mughal-E-Azam (1960), Naya Daur (1957) and Ram Aur Shyam (1967).
Shahrukh has drawn a lot from the veteran actor’s work. He even managed to recreate Dilip Kumar’s most loved work – Devdas.
On the work front, the 52-year-old is currently shooting for Zero in Mumbai. The actor will play the role of a dwarf in the film. Directed by Anand L. Rai, it will reunite the Jab Tak Hai Jaan trio of SRK, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
