Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan are two of Bollywood’s most popular actors.
Meanwhile, Mountain Dew is a beloved soft drink which was introduced in 1948.
It was an exciting time for Mountain Dew consumers and Bollywood fans when Salman and Hrithik collaborated on an advert for the drink.
This advert marked the first time Salman and Hrithik appeared together onscreen.
It began with Hrithik Roshan’s character in a cable car surrounded by a group of people.
Suddenly, the wires of the cable car malfunctioned, putting the vehicle in danger of crashing into a snow-capped mountain.
One person asked Hrithik: “Aren’t you feeling scared?”
Hrithik gulped and replied: “Everyone gets scared, but we are those…”
Before completing the sentence, Hrithik picked up a bottle of Mountain Dew and tossed it to his side.
Salman Khan’s character caught the bottle and completed the sentence, saying: “…Who scare fear.”
The advert then showed Hrithik and Salman drinking from their bottles of Mountain Dew as the cable car crashed to the ground.
Hrithik and Salman kicked the doors open and used their skis to stop the cable car from plummeting from the glacier.
The two actors were shown to be perched on top of the mountain with their Mountain Dew.
Salman said: “Mountain Dew.”
Hrithik declared: “There is victory ahead of fear.”
Salman and Hrithik touched their bottles of the soft drink together as the advert ended.

The first collaboration between the actors generated excitement among netizens.
One user said: “Fan war aside, action suits them. Only some ideas need to be generated like this ad.”
Another added: “Mountain Dew has done what YRF could not.”
However, some users on Reddit doubted the authenticity of the advert.
One user commented: “Shot separately. The hands coming together are also not Salman and Hrithik’s.”
Another person wrote: “Hrithik’s fake tan is so embarrassing.”
In 2011, Salman Khan became a brand ambassador for Mountain Dew.
In 1995, Salman starred in Karan Arjun, directed by Hrithik’s father, Rakesh Roshan. Hrithik was an assistant director on the sets.
Salman also helped Hrithik work out and train in preparation for his debut Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai (2000).
Both stars are also part of the YRF Spy Universe, with Hrithik having a cameo appearance in a post-credits scene of Salman’s Tiger 3 (2023).
However, the actors did not share screen space in this film.
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in Sikandar.
Hrithik Roshan is currently filming for War 2 with Jr NTR.
Both films are scheduled to be released later in 2025.
