"Love you man."

Hrithik Roshan has written an open letter to Aryan Khan after his arrest in connection with a drug case.

Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son was detained on Sunday, October 3, 2021, by India’s Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

It comes after a Cordelia Cruises ship making its way to Goa was targeted in a raid off the Mumbai coast.

Substances including cocaine, MDMA and Mephedrone are all believed to have been consumed aboard the ship.

The NCB said that they had received a tip-off that a party was being held on the cruise so boarded, posing as passengers.

Aryan was detained and quizzed at the bureau’s base in Mumbai following the incident and has since been arrested.

He was one of the eight people in total who were detained in connection with the narcotics discovery on the cruise.

Hrithik Roshan has now reacted to the news by posting a picture of Aryan Khan and writing an open letter to him.

In the lengthy post, the actor advised the 23-year-old to keep calm and to trust the light within himself. He ended it: “Love you man.”

Various other celebrities also showed their support in the comments including fellow actor Alia Bhatt, celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim and music producer Mayur Jumani.

Controversial actress Kangana Ranaut also expressed her own thoughts on the arrest on her Instagram story shortly after the Krrish (2006) star’s letter.

She wrote: “Now all Mafia Pappu coming to Aryan Khan’s defence…

“We make mistakes but we mustn’t glorify them…”

“I trust this will give him perspective and also make him realise the consequences of his actions.

“Hopefully, it can evolve him and make him better and bigger.

“It’s good not to gossip about someone when they are vulnerable but it’s criminal to make them feel that they did no wrong.”

It comes after other celebrities also reacted to the news including musician Mika Singh and Suniel Shetty.

Neither of Aryan’s parents, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan have yet provided a statement regarding their son’s arrest.

He will remain in judicial custody for 14 days following a Mumbai court order which rejected the NCB’s request for further custody.

Aryan Khan is due to appear in court for an interim bail hearing on Friday, October 8, 2021.
