Sajid Hasan faces Backlash for defending Son amid Murder Case f

The case has garnered significant media attention.

Sajid Hasan’s son, Sahir Hasan, has admitted to being involved in drug dealing and revealed details of his participation in the Mustafa Amir case.

Speaking with Karachi News Network, Sahir, aged 27, shared his connection to the criminal activities that have led to public scrutiny.

He disclosed that he had been involved in selling drugs, specifically marijuana.

He also admitted to having 400 grams in his possession when the police apprehended him.

Sahir shared that he used to sell one gram for 10,000 rupees, with clients from posh areas purchasing drugs worth up to 2.5 lakh per week.

According to his account, the drugs would first arrive in Lahore and Islamabad before being distributed across the country via courier services.

He also revealed that his wife, whom he married a month ago, was fully aware of his illicit activities.

In addition to admitting his involvement in drug dealing, Sahir also commented on the impact of drugs on his future family.

He stated that he would prevent his future children from taking drugs until they turned 21.

After that, he said, they could make their own choices.

This statement has sparked public concern about the younger generation’s involvement in substance abuse.

The situation has become even more controversial amid the ongoing investigation into the murder of Mustafa Amir.

This is because Sahir is connected to the key suspect, Armaghan Qureshi.

Sahir added that he would not call himself Armaghan’s friend, but he was friends with Mustafa Amir.

However, he had previously claimed not to know him.

Armaghan, who has been accused of murdering Mustafa Amir, appeared before a magistrate on March 22, 2025.

During the hearing, he denied confessing to the crime and claimed that the police were coercing him into giving a false statement.

Earlier, another suspect, Shiraz, also known as Shavez Bukhari, had similarly denied confessing to the crime during his appearance.

The case surrounding Mustafa Amir’s death has garnered significant media attention, with the police continuing their investigation.

At this point, the court has not decided whether earlier confessions from the accused are admissible, given the new claims of coercion.

Sahir Hasan’s admission of his role in drug dealing and his family’s involvement in the case has prompted widespread criticism.

The public is now questioning not only the actions of Sajid Hasan’s son but also the inefficacy of government officials.
