two seemingly opposite personalities are destined to collide.

Ramsha Khan and Khushhal Khan are reuniting for Biryani, a romantic comedy that already has fans buzzing with anticipation.

The pair previously starred in Green TV’s Duniyapur, a revenge-driven drama that became a surprise hit across digital platforms and television.

After Duniyapur ended, fans began demanding to see Ramsha and Khushhal in a lighter, more comedic setting.

Their wish appears to have been granted with Biryani, which will replace Parwarish on ARY Digital’s prime-time lineup.

The drama is produced by Fahad Mustafa and Dr Ali Kazmi under Big Bang Productions.

The script has been written by Zafar Mairaj, famous for his distinctive tone and food-themed titles like Kabli Pulao and Dampukht.

Direction duties are handled by Badar Mehmood, who is well-known for his work on the drama Cheekh, among others.

Biryani‘s teaser introduces viewers to a university setting where two seemingly opposite personalities are destined to collide.

Ramsha plays a spirited and assertive young woman, while Khushhal appears to be an obedient and polite student.

In one scene, she warns him that she’s “dealt with the kids of many big people” before walking away confidently.

Khushhal replies: “You know what your problem is? You like acting like a baap [father].”

Sarwat Gilani also makes an appearance in the teaser, though her role remains a mystery for now.

But based on the teaser, she appears to play a more antagonistic figure in the drama’s unfolding plot.

Fans have already started dissecting the teaser, praising the visuals and calling the drama “cinematic”, “amazing” and “incredible”.

The title Biryani has become a point of both curiosity and online humour, especially given the drama’s serious-looking poster.

Social media users have jokingly compared Sarwat Gilani’s menacing pose to being the “aloo” or secret ingredient in biryani.

Others questioned: “Why is this drama called Biryani? What is the relation between this drama and Biryani?”

Despite the name confusion, the romantic comedy promises to offer something different from the heavy themes of Duniyapur.

According to the official description:

“It’s a love story that travels across hearts, crosses distances, and stays with the soul.”

While the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the story, the chemistry between the lead actors is already winning fan attention.

Whether or not the title holds symbolic meaning remains to be seen, but Biryani is certainly cooking up high expectations.
