The notice accuses Malik of publicly defaming Shah

Alizeh Shah has taken legal steps against Minsa Malik by sharing screenshots of a defamation notice online.

The notice accuses Malik of spreading false claims and damaging Shah’s professional standing.

While Shah has publicly posted the document, it remains unclear whether Malik has officially received the notice or responded to it.

Addressed to “Momna Maqsood aka Minsa Malik”, the notice threatens legal action worth Rs. 1 billion in damages.

It further states that a complaint will also be filed with the Federal Investigation Agency under cybercrime and defamation laws.

The notice accuses Malik of publicly defaming Shah, using derogatory language, and admitting to physically assaulting her on-set.

Shah’s team claims that such behaviour directly damaged her dignity, mental health, and professional engagements in the television industry.

It also highlights that Malik continued circulating an already withdrawn application containing false allegations against Shah’s conduct.

Despite the application being retracted, Malik allegedly spread it among industry peers to deliberately damage Shah’s public image.

The legal notice also says Malik communicated false information about Shah to producers and others working within the entertainment business.

According to Shah’s legal team, this caused her to lose roles and opportunities and led to industry-wide misunderstandings.

The notice categorises Malik’s behaviour as “character assassination” and “intentional infliction of reputational harm” under Pakistani legal standards.

It warns that failure to retract the statements and issue a written apology will result in formal legal proceedings.

Shah’s lawyer demands that Malik delete all defamatory content and publicly acknowledge her statements as false within 48 hours.

If not, Shah intends to pursue both civil and criminal complaints under the Defamation Ordinance and Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act.

Additionally, charges under Section 500 of the Pakistan Penal Code may also be filed if the conflict is not resolved.

Alizeh Shah alleges emotional distress, loss of income, and damage to personal relationships due to Malik’s continued public commentary.

It remains unclear whether Malik has received or responded to the defamation notice shared by Alizeh Shah on social media.

Pakistani news channels have attempted to reach Minsa Malik for comment regarding the legal notice and the surrounding controversy, but received none.

The dispute has revived past controversies, and fans are closely watching whether Minsa Malik complies with the legal demands outlined.

Until further statements are made, the situation remains tense and unresolved between the actresses involved in the dispute.
