"Adil has tortured me and cheated on me"
The matter between Rakhi Sawant and her husband Adil Khan Durrani has taken another turn as Rakhi made a number of allegations against him.
Rakhi first accused Adil of cheating on her with a woman named Tanu Chandel. Pictures of the pair have since circulated.
Rakhi also had Adil arrested for allegedly mishandling her money.
She has now claimed that Adil sold nude videos of her. Rakhi alleged:
“Adil has taken my nude videos and sold them to people. My case is on with the Cybercrime department for the same. He now wants to marry Tanu for the third time.”
At the courthouse, Rakhi said: “I have come to the court to share my side of the story.
“Adil shouldn’t get bail, I have gotten my medical done and even submitted all the proofs to the Oshiwara Police Station. I have come here to seek justice from the Judge.
“Adil has tortured me and cheated on me and I don’t want to get him bail.
“I have given my bank statements too, he took my OTP and stole my money, and he breached my trust.”
Her legal team said: “There are some proofs that are serious enough for not letting him get bail.
“Not just section 498 or 377, there are more serious sections that Rakhi can accuse Adil of.
“The Rs 1.5 Crore fraud is a serious crime and this topic shall get discussed in court as well. Punishment shall be considered after the topic is brought up in the hearing.
“Police couldn’t keep the proper facts earlier so the accused was held in judicial custody. With the current developments the prosecution has asked for police custody and we are supporting it.
“The accused’s lawyer wasn’t present in front of the court with the bail application so now the matter has been postponed to Monday.
“We are in support of police custody and we will appeal for the same.”
Rakhi’s representative stated: “We are still in the process of collecting more evidence against the accused and Rakhi has been cooperating with us so we will soon have a strong case against him in court.”
Speaking about Adil’s alleged affair, Rakhi Sawant told ETimes:
“Adil has told Tanu that after coming out of this, he will hold a press conference and do a nikkah with her in five days.”
On the apparent proof, Rakhi said:
“I have the proof and I shall reveal it if and when required.”
Elaborating on the alleged torture, Rakhi said:
“Adil has tortured me physically in a crude manner. I have suffered a lot for 7 months.
“Being even Rakhi Sawant, I could not come out and talk about it until it came to a point where I could not take it anymore.”
