"together then divorce... make up your mind guys"
Rajeev Sen was trolled over his picture with ex-wife Charu Asopa.
The picture was shared on Instagram just a few weeks after they got divorced.
Their split appeared to be a bitter one, with Charu accusing Rajeev of being physically violent with her.
Charu also claimed Rajeev cheated on her while she was pregnant with their daughter.
In November 2022, she said: “After a few months of staying in Bikaner, I returned to Mumbai and spent most of my pregnancy period here.
“He would leave early morning at 11 am for his gym in Bandra from Goregaon East and would return home at night around 11 pm, sometimes 7, 8, or 9 pm.
“When I questioned him why he takes so many hours, he often said, ‘When I see traffic on the map, I sip coffee in Bandra cafes and wait for the traffic to slow down, and then I leave for home’.
“I trusted this as well.
“At times, he said he slept in the car and many other excuses.
“Once he just went to Delhi without saying and I was moving things here and there, and that’s when I found something in his bag, through which I found out that he is cheating on me.”
The new picture indicates that things are good between the former couple but it led to trolling.
Many accused the pair of creating unnecessary drama for attention.
One said: “Attention seekers.”
Another commented: “Don’t make your fans fools.”
One person believed that Rajeev and Charu are actually still together and that the divorce was a publicity stunt.
The user wrote: “I think these two are together and their divorce was a game plan.
“They just pretend for publicity and popularity. Very overacting couple. Don’t know what will be the effect of the child by doing all this.”
A netizen said: “Together… then divorce… then together… then divorce… then together then divorce… make up your mind guys and live happily.”
The trolling prompted an angry response from Rajeev Sen.
Taking to his blog, he wrote: “Charu and I are very bindaas when it comes to uploading pictures.
“If we like a picture or reel, we post it. We do not calculate what people will say, what they will think. What they want to think, they will.
“We will do what we want to. People have individual lives.
“In that if people judge that, ‘You just got divorced and you are now posting lovey-dovey pictures’.
“Who are you to judge us and tell us what to do and what not to do.”
Speaking about his current situation with Charu, Rajeev continued:
“Charu and I share a very special bond. It has grown stronger after we have signed the papers.
“We have understood we cannot part ways only by signing on a paper, especially when we have a child.”
Addressing his “section of haters”, Rajeev added:
“I really feel that one should respect every individual and their thoughts, especially when you see our vlogs as fans or well-wishers.
“I know there’s a section of haters.
“But Charu and I have gone through ups and downs as every couple does. The only difference is that ours was public.”
