A disturbing video from Karachi showing violence against a maid has triggered nationwide outrage among the public.

The footage shows a man identified as Noman assaulting a domestic worker named Yasmin inside a building.

In the clip, he is seen beating her repeatedly and forcing her down a staircase violently.

The maid sustained multiple injuries during the attack and later approached authorities to seek legal action.

Police confirmed that Yasmin filed a formal complaint after the video began circulating widely on online platforms.

The incident quickly spread across social media platforms, where viewers expressed shock, anger and deep concern.

Many users described the assault as horrifying and demanded immediate accountability for those responsible.

Following the backlash, the accused couple released statements denying wrongdoing and claiming they were being targeted.

According to their version, residents of the building allegedly wanted them evicted and plotted against them.

They further alleged that the viral video was deliberately circulated as part of this supposed conspiracy.

Noman’s wife also appeared in a separate clip attempting to justify the events shown publicly again.

She claimed the footage shared online was incomplete and selectively edited to deliberately misrepresent the situation.

According to her statement, the domestic worker initiated the confrontation before the situation escalated further.

These claims, however, failed to calm public anger, which continued to grow across digital platforms nationwide.

Online users overwhelmingly condemned the violence, stressing that no circumstances could ever justify such brutality.

One social media user wrote:

“A man can never beat a woman, whatever may be the reason.”

Another commenter said: “I am scared of such men after seeing this video online.”

Several others echoed similar sentiments, stating that acts like these reflect deeply rooted societal violence patterns.

Rights activists noted that domestic workers remain especially vulnerable due to power imbalances and limited protections.

They urged authorities to ensure a transparent investigation and meaningful consequences for proven abuse cases swiftly.

Many stress that viral attention should translate into justice rather than fading with online outrage cycles.

As investigations proceed, the public continues to monitor developments while demanding justice for the domestic worker.

The incident stands as another grim reminder of unchecked violence occurring behind closed doors in Pakistan.

Authorities have yet to announce further action, but public pressure suggests the case will not fade quietly.
