Guitar virtuoso Oni Hasan returned to the Dhaka stage on July 19, 2025, with ‘Let’s Vibe – Oni Hasan featuring All Stars’.
The event was held at Aloki Convention Centre and drew an enthusiastic crowd eager to witness the former Warfaze and Vibe guitarist.
He performed alongside a stellar lineup of Bangladesh’s finest rock musicians.
The show, which spanned most of the day, began with a guitar masterclass in the afternoon.
Zubair Hasan from Indalo opened the session by deconstructing his own songs, explaining chord structures and sharing his creative process.
The atmosphere was interactive, with fans and young musicians freely asking questions.
When Oni Hasan arrived, he was immediately surrounded by fans.
Despite the crowd, he remained warm and approachable.
He addressed technical questions about his gear, shared his practice methods, and even joined an audience member for an impromptu jam.
By 7:50 pm, the evening concert began. The crowd filled the venue, buzzing with excitement.
The lineup included Jamshed Chowdhury, Raef Al Hasan Rafa, Taawkir Tajammul, Zohad Yazdani, Fardin Fayez Omee, and Minhaj Ahmed Mridul.
Wali Muhammad Akbar from Vibe also made a surprise appearance.
The night kicked off with originals such as ‘Amar Shongbidhan’, ‘Sesher Opashe’, ‘Bidhatari Ronge Aka’, and ‘Odhora’.
Zohad took lead vocals for these tracks while Wali played keys on selected songs.
Between vocal performances, Oni showcased his signature solo pieces, ‘Blissful Youth’ and ‘Until We Meet Again.’
The guitarist also performed ‘The Himalayas is Where My Heart Rests’ and ‘Shrine Revisited’.
Midway through the show, the tone shifted to high-octane metal with a Pantera tribute.
Jamshed handled vocals, and Rafa took over drums. They performed ‘Mouth for War’, ‘Walk’, and ‘Cowboys from Hell’.
One standout moment came with ‘Cemetery Gates’, as Rafa delivered a stunning vocal performance.
‘F**king Hostile’ brought the energy to a peak before they moved into Megadeth territory. ‘Dread and the Fugitive Mind’ and ‘Tornado of Souls’ followed, with Jamshed leading vocals.
The show’s final phase returned to Bangladeshi originals.
Zohad performed ‘Shopnodeb’ and ‘Chena Jogot’ before closing with a powerful three-frontman lineup.
Zohad, Rafa, and Jamshed united for ‘Naa’ and ‘Purnota’, ending the night on an emotional high.
Though it began with slight delays, ‘Let’s Vibe’ exceeded expectations.
The concert delivered thrilling performances, seamless collaborations, and a strong sense of nostalgia.
Whether Oni Hasan’s return signals more solo work or new collaborations remains to be seen.
But the reception left no doubt: the audience hasn’t forgotten, and they want more.
