Guru Randhawa has made a powerful return to music with ‘Vibe’, a high-energy collaboration with Moroccan-American rapper French Montana.
Released on May 16, 2025, the T-Series track features Shanaya Kapoor in her first-ever music video appearance.
The video, shot in Las Vegas, blends Punjabi beats with bold rap verses and visual grandeur.
In a striking moment, French Montana delivers lines in Punjabi and joins Guru in an energetic Bhangra performance.
Shanaya and Guru are seen partying in a casino, framed by the neon brilliance of the Vegas Sphere.
Presented by T-Series, the song signals a comeback for Guru, who has previously worked with Pitbull on ‘Slowly Slowly’ and with Jay Sean on ‘Surma Surma’.
This latest track extends his streak of cross-cultural collaborations.

The song’s release follows speculation earlier this year about tensions between Guru Randhawa and T-Series.
In January, Guru responded to an X post accusing the label of blocking his independent ventures. He wrote:
“Big people face big problems. The issue will get resolved in a few days and we will come back stronger than ever.”
In the same post, Guru addressed his absence from the music scene:
“This year will be full of music and movies. Just gearing up. I hardly speak about all these issues but ya it’s time to address and let you all know what’s happening at the back end from the past 1.5 years.
“But yes, hopefully it will get resolved and things will be sorted in a nicer way. Till then, spread love, God is the greatest.”
‘Vibe’ features music by JSL and DJ Shadow and blends smooth Punjabi vocals, pounding basslines and global rap flows.
It continues Guru’s mission of taking Indian pop to international audiences.
