“Shame on this Joker Talwiinder.”
Indian singer Talwiinder has faced a fierce backlash following his surprise appearance at a Pakistani music concert.
He joined the famous Pakistani star Hasan Raheem during a live performance held recently in the city of Toronto.
Viral videos from the event show the two artists sharing the stage while performing together for the excited crowd.
Enthusiastic fans witnessed the pair singing and hugging before breaking into an energetic dance routine on the stage.
Talwiinder expressed his personal joy by sharing several clips of the event on his Instagram account.
He said: “Wishes came true in Toronto.”
While many audience members celebrated the musical crossover, a large section of online critics quickly condemned the move.
This controversy comes during a time of significantly heightened political tension between the nations of India and Pakistan.
Events such as the Pahalgam attack have led to renewed calls for a total collaboration ban.
Many people now demand that Indian and Pakistani artists should no longer work together on any creative projects.
One social media user voiced their extreme anger on the platform regarding the recent meeting in Canada. They said:
“Meet Talvindar attending the concert of Hasan Raheem, who mocked our Operation Sindoor.
“Why some of the Punjabis have so much affection for Pakistanis?”
Another person expressed their deep frustration with the singer through a very blunt and critical post online, stating:
“Shame on this Joker Talwiinder.”
A different commentator suggested that the artist needs to reconsider his public stance and choices very carefully, saying:
“Talwinder this is not a joke. You need to reaffirm everything. I will not repeat this.”

Critics also questioned why any Indian musician would choose to associate with those who made controversial remarks.
One critic argued that such artists have no shame and their supporters represent a menace to society, saying:
“Why is Talwinder hanging out with a Pakistani who literally said this!
“These artists have no shame & those who support them are a much bigger menace in this society.”
Another user suggested that these collaborations are merely a cynical trend used to revive a failing career, remarking:
“It’s a trend now, go to a Pakistanis concert, get ur dying career a life and then say sorry to Indians.”
Despite the wave of negativity, many fans stood firmly by the singer and his right to artistic freedom.
They argued that the universal language of music should always transcend national borders and political divisions.
One supporter said: “Two souls two nations, one vibe Hassan Raheem x Talwiinder proving music has no borders, only hearts.”
Another fan wrote: “History was made, and we were there to witness it!”
Talwiinder has not yet responded to the intense criticism currently being directed at him online.
His recent performance with Hasan Raheem continues to be a major talking point across several social media platforms.
