British-Asian model Neelam Gill has been revealed as the new face of L’Oreal Paris UK. This news hails her as the first British-Asian model to receive such a title and the chance to work so closely with a massive beauty brand.
She will appear in some of the brand’s biggest makeup campaigns, promoting lipsticks and foundation.
The announcement appeared on Monday 6th March 2017, as Neelam Gill took to social media to reveal the news.
The new face of L’Oreal Paris appeared understandably excited and joyful at the career-defining announcement.
Talking to Instagram she said: “I feel honoured to be working alongside such an influential company, especially being the first British-Indian model.
“Growing up I felt left out and unrepresented knowing that nobody in mainstream media looked like me, and now I hope to change that.”
And since then, the model updated fans with the positive aftermath after the face of L’Oreal Paris reveal. She particularly appeared humbled by all the support, especially from those who feel she will brilliantly represent British-Asian girls.

In addition, she’s shown her appreciation for working in such an iconic beauty brand. Having dinner with fellow L’Oreal stars such as Lewis Hamilton and Barbara Palvin, she named them as her “L’Oreal family”.
During 2017, the new face of L’Oreal Paris will be the main star behind three big campaigns.
These include an upcoming advertising campaign for a new range of Mattel Addiction lipsticks. As well as a new True Match foundation campaign, which will arrive in September 2017.
This marks the second time Neelam Gill has struck gold in her modelling career. Back in 2014, she became the first Indian model to feature in a Burberry campaign.
Therefore, it appears Neelam Gill’s career goes from strength to strength.
