The Nikkah was held at the first mosque built in the United Kingdom, which is in Woking.
Known for her rising career in television, the 27-year-old chose a quiet celebration attended only by close family and friends.
The wedding, which quickly began circulating online through friends’ social media posts, featured Mehrunnisa in a red traditional bridal outfit.
The dress was adorned with gold embroidery and the actress wore matching jewellery to compliment it.
Her husband, Zakariya, opted for a classic grey suit, steering away from the traditional sherwani look.
Though Mehrunnisa has yet to share an official post, she confirmed the news by resharing friends’ Instagram stories.
Among the guests spotted at the ceremony were Shabaz Taseer and Neha Taseer, the son and daughter-in-law of late Punjab governor Salman Taseer.

The marriage follows Mehrunnisa’s Mayun celebration, which had already caught the public’s eye with its warmth and colour.
