Renowned actress and model Sabnam Faria has tied the knot in a quiet ceremony held at Masjid Al Mustafa on Madani Avenue, Dhaka.

The wedding took place on Friday, September 19, 2025, shortly after Asr prayers, and was attended by close relatives from both sides.

Faria confirmed the news herself, saying the marriage was a deeply emotional step after years of uncertainty and personal struggles.

She described the moment as overwhelming, admitting she once thought marriage might never return to her life.

She explained that the decision came suddenly through her family, and the outcome marked the beginning of an entirely new chapter.

“My feelings about marriage have always been complex, no less than anxiety.

“After going through various complicated and personal experiences related to marriage, I thought this chapter might never come in my life.

“However, with the passage of time and an unexpected family decision, this outcome has come about.”

Her husband, Tanzim Tayeb, pursued higher studies abroad before establishing his professional career in Bangladesh.

Tayeb earned a master’s degree in financial engineering from the University of South Wales in Australia, showcasing a strong academic record.

He is currently employed as an assistant vice president at a leading private bank, securing an impressive standing within the financial sector.

Due to the spontaneous nature of the ceremony, Faria revealed that her only sister-in-law could not attend as she currently resides overseas.

However, she assured that a post-wedding reception will be arranged in the near future with friends, colleagues, and extended family members.

The actress added that they hoped to celebrate more openly once the initial religious rituals had been completed in private.

She also requested well-wishes and prayers, acknowledging the significance of embarking on such a life-changing journey at this stage.

This marks Faria’s second marriage, as she was previously married in 2018 to Harunur Rashid Apu, a senior marketing professional.

That union ended in separation two years later.
