DESIblitz has teamed up with Western Union in collaboration with Ra.One to give two lucky readers the chance to meet Shahrukh Khan on Tuesday October 25th 2011 at an exclusive event in London.
Shahrukh Khan may play a superhero with x-ray vision and super hero power in Ra.One but we all know people who do heroic things in our everyday lives. Western Union customers may not have special powers but they are heroes to their families when they gift cash. Every 19 seconds, one of Western Union’s customers, somewhere in the world, does something ‘heroic’.
Their small act of gifting cash makes something amazing happen for someone else somewhere in the world. It makes a loved one smile, kick starts a business, helps a charity. That small transfer makes a big difference to the recipient.
PRIZE DETAILS
- Return Travel by train to a Central London venue for the competition winner and their nominated “everyday hero” (exact venue to be kept secret for security reasons)
- Taxi from station to venue
- Attendance at a “Western Union closed door Meet and Greet” where SRK will be speaking
- The chance to be introduced to him personally at the event
- The winners’ personal everyday hero nomination that won them the chance to be there, read out at the Western Union event by one of the speakers
- Cinema tickets to see Ra.One (not the premiere)
HOW TO ENTER
So on the theme of everyday heroes why don’t you fill in the form below and tell us then name of your “everyday superhero” and state exactly why they are your hero in no more than 100 words.
DESIblitz will then select the best entry to decide who gets to meet the King of Bollywood, the superhero himself, next Tuesday lunchtime (25th October 2011) in London.
The competition will close at 6pm on Sunday 23rd October and the winner will be notified on Monday 24th October before 6.00pm, ready to go along to meet Shahrukh Khan the very next day!
The entrant and their ‘everyday superhero’ must be able to attend the event at a central London venue on Tuesday 25th October 2011 from 11.30am to 3.00pm.
Two tickets are available to meet Shahrukh Khan – one for the person that nominates their ‘everyday superhero’ and the other for that everyday superhero they mention. So what are you waiting for? Fill in the form and submit your entry now and tell us who your everyday superhero is!

For me,my superhero is my husband.he has been there always for me.when i came to uk,i was studying and he used to work at nights and days,i used to study.he used to help with household work and cooking to give me plenty of time to study.because of him,i managed to get a masters degree and now i work as a scientist. we had a lot of trouble staying in uk without family as parents and all relatives were back in india.for me,my husband played a vital role and is my superhero.
